“Backpack takes” is the actual amount we get to keep for our service. This amount helps us run our platform, bring innovative solutions to user problems and offer services like customer support, warranty, insurance for damaged/missing items etc.
For items where the Traveler takes a high fee, the Backpack fee can be as low as BDT 0. Since our vision is to give our shoppers easy access to as many international items as possible, we’re literally bringing these items for our shoppers for 🆓!
Our pricing sometimes might seem high to some shoppers, but this amount goes entirely into our efforts to establish a premium service, which includes round the clock support, 30-day return policy and more. We also provide insurance for missing/damaged items if the traveler somehow damages or loses the item. We basically need the Backpack fee so we can run our operation without any hiccups and give you a smooth experience. Having said that, we know how pricing can be so crucial to some users and we're always working hard to bring it down and give more & more users access to international items and gradually make our vision come true. 🌎 🛍️ 💁🏻♀️
